Changes at Calhoun Square
The Minneapolis Planning Commission approved a development project for Calhoun Square on March 31, 2008. We are excited about the future plans, which include revitalizing changes to Uptown's retail and restaurant hub. Some components of the plans include:
- additional parking in adjacent ramp
- pedestrian plaza on Girard Ave.
- wider sidewalks on Hennepin Ave. and Lake St.
- decorative lighting
- additional skylight glass
- multiple cozy interior seating areas
- vines, shrubs, and landscaping
